The plating and pigments may fade or tarnish over time — this can happen quicker with exposure to water, sweat, lotions, perfumes, or prolonged sunlight and heavy wear. To keep them looking lovely:

• Avoid getting them wet – remove before showering, swimming, or exercising

• Store in a dry, airtight place when not in use

• Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing

• Keep away from perfumes, lotions, and hair products

These pieces are tarnish-resistant and water-resistant, not to be confused with plated jewellery. Gold-filled jewellery contains a thick layer of real gold bonded to a base metal, meaning it wears much better over time.

• Safe for day to day water contact (e.g. hand washing, light rain) but remove for showers, pools, or workouts

• Gently clean with warm water and mild soap if needed, then pat dry

Still, here’s how to help it look its best:

• To clean, simply rinse with water or wipe with a soft cloth

• Store dry and clean to avoid surface build-up from lotions or oils

• Avoid scratching by keeping away from harder materials when stored

• Note, whilst stainless steel itself does not tarnish, gold and rose gold pieces in this collection contain a plated element which can naturally fade with heavy wear so we always recommend taking off before swimming or showering to preserve these pieces’ shine
